2023 Sellings Cup. Unfortunately, on our second attempt to hold this match, we were again thwarted by the weather. It just kept on raining and the green looked like a flood plain. In the end, the match had to be abandoned before it could even start. However, Fairlight B.C who were kindly being our hosts for the night, provided us with sandwiches & refreshments. Our sincere thanks go to all those who worked hard to provided these refreshments.

Sellings Cup (2022 Report)

This Cup is played for annually, in a Rinks match that takes place between

the Mermaid v Rother Bowls Leagues.

There are usually 6 teams from each League playing for this coverted

trophy.

This all takes place on a mid-summers evening, followed by refreshments

that have been kindly prepared by the host club.
