This year the event was hosted by Tenterden Bowls club. It turned out to be a nice day of sunshine with a few clouds at times, but the main thing it stayed dry.
Members from Tenterden were there to greet the members of the visiting clubs.
The smell of freshly cooked bacon, drew you to the bacon bap stand, which also sold sausage rolls etc. for those who had missed their breakfast. Refreshments, including tea & coffee were on tap all day, with a cake stand near by.
At lunchtime every competitor was served a complimentary Ham salad, followed by a strawberry & ice cream desert.
Our thanks to everyone who had worked so hard to look after us all.
A Tombola was on offer for those who would like to participate. It had prizes of all descriptions, from a Picnic basket, various types of wines & spirits. soft toys & a hand bag etc.
Then, a little further around the corner was a Bric a brac stall offering a wide variety of items at very low prices!
After a days competition the Winners were Staplecross & the Runners-up were Hamstreet.
Congratulations to the Winners & Runners-up
Our thanks go to all the competitors for taking part & supporting this years event.
