Iden Bowls Club
Iden Bowls club are having difficulties in fielding teams that comply with the league rules. This is due to a lack of available and fit ladies at the moment and is not
expected to continue beyond this season. The club is however very keen to continue to play matches on the current fixture list and have asked the league committee if they may forfeit the matches that
should be played under league rules this season and instead play them as friendlies.
Under the circumstances the committee has agreed that, exceptionally, Iden’s matches may be treated as friendly games for this season. The committee has decided that any
matches played by Iden under league rules shall be declared null and void and all points scored in those matches will be removed from the league table. No points will be awarded for future games
involving Iden for the duration of this season. This approach will ensure that no club will be either advantaged or disadvantaged.
